Our training is all about flexibility and tailored learning. Say goodbye to fixed course dates and schedules. Whether you’re balancing work commitments or travelling from afar, choose between 1-day blocks, or a consecutive day course to fit your schedule, all based on mutual availability.

Yes, if you are unable to provide your own training models we can supply them for you via our advertising at $35 each. This is a popular option for our interstate students who may not know anyone in Brisbane who can model for them.

Typically 2-3, however, we cap all in-person classes to no more than 4 attendees.

If you are attending a Refresher Course, these are 1-on-1.

Yes, all lash & brow courses offered by LashJoy Academy are able to be paid for via payment plans offered by our partners Payright and TLC.

Step 2) You'll then receive an email with a link to complete your payment plan (if applicable) and a student enrolment form.

Step 3) Once completed, we will contact you to schedule your course dates (based on mutual availability) along with information to help you prepare for your course.

Yes, you will. As the lash industry is not regulated in Australia there is no requirement to be "nationally accredited" in order for someone to apply eyelash extensions, so yes you will be 100% qualified and able to work as a Lash Stylist.

The certificate you receive upon successfully completing this course will allow you to source the appropriate insurances needed and we're happy to assist with this process through our contacts.

For international students, as different states have different regulations relating to the eyelash extension industry it's your responsibility to check with your respective Council, State Board of Cosmetology or other health regulations and guidelines to ensure you meet your local industry compliance standards.

No, LashJoy Academy courses are not nationally accredited. In Australia, the Eyelash Extension industry is not regulated, so there is no requirement or advantage to attending a nationally accredited course in terms of gaining higher expertise, knowledge, or confidence as a Lash Stylist.

However, it's worth noting that LashJoy Academy has been recognised as the winner of the Australian Beauty Industry Awards in the category of "Educator of the Year - Organisation." Our most popular and most comprehensive course that we offer for complete beginners is our 7 in 1 Lash & Brow Mentorship Course Bundle.

Over 16 (non consecutive) days, this course teaches you the A-Z of Classic, Volume & Hybrid Lash application, Lash Lifting, as well as Brow Artistry services such as Brow Waxing, Brow Tint & Dye, Brow Lamination and more.

If attending an in-person course in Brisbane is not an option, our Classic Lash Mastery Online course is a great alternative.

Post training support is something we really excel at because we know that’s where it’s needed most, particularly in the first year of a new Lash Stylists career.

Not only do we have an entire team working in various departments of the academy to ensure every event runs to perfection, we also have full time staff employed purely to look after our students post training for as long as needed.

There is only one reason and that is because it wouldn’t be possible to teach someone how to apply eyelash extensions correctly and safely in any less than 4 full days.

In the early days of eyelash extensions when there was very limited knowledge available, the courses were very short (often just 1 or 2 days at the most) and they barely scraped the surface as to what is required to apply eyelash extensions safely and to a high standard.

1 or 2 days just is not enough time to cover everything that needs to be covered in order for you to leave confident in your fundamental techniques, knowledgeable about products, allergies, hygiene, refills, removals, styling, consultations and about 1000 other essential things!

If you have previously attended a 1 day course you most likely are nodding your head in agreement right now!

One of most common things we hear our beginner students say after attending our 6 Day course is "I don't know how anyone could learn how to do this properly in just 1 or 2 days"!

Unfortunately, not. Whilst there are some courses around that will try to combine everything into one jam packed course, it is not recommended and almost never leads to competent students.

The reason for this is that Russian Volume and Hybrid lash application is significantly more difficult than classic lash application which means it's absolutely essential that you take the necessary time to perfect your classic fundamentals before learning more advanced techniques.

Think of it as how we learn to walk. First we learn to crawl, then we learn to walk. Trying to learn both at the same time would be far too overwhelming.

At LashJoy Academy, we do offer "Mentorship Bundles" that combine multiple courses, however they are designed to be taken independently when the student is ready - not all at once.

This approach may take a little longer, but is guaranteed to leave you much more confident and capable than trying to rush and learn everything all at once.

Yes, absolutely. At least 50% of the students who attend our Volume and Hybrid Lash Mastery courses have completed their initial classic training with another provider and that’s completely fine.

Just be open to learning new techniques and you’ll get a lot of benefit from your time with us.

We don't have set intakes for our online courses as we prefer to run them year round. This means once you enrol in one of our online courses you're typically able to start your course immediately.

It depends. Whilst we have a lot of interstate and occasional international students attend our in-person courses, we understand it may not be possible for some to make it to Brisbane to attend one of our courses.

In this case, enrolling in one of our Online Courses might be the perfect option for you as you can save money on travel and accommodation and also have the flexibility of learning on your own schedule.

The most important thing to consider in our opinion before choosing an online or in-person course is how do you learn best? Some students do extremely well with online learning, whereas others will see much better results if they attend in-person.

Yes! Upon completion, you will receive a "Certificate of Achievement".

As our Classic Lash Mastery Online Course is quite interactive with detailed feedback provided to you after completing each module, you will be at an extremely high standard in terms of knowledge and skill by the end of the course.

Yes, we ship our products all over the globe via FedEx, Australia Post and DHL.

The cost to send out your Lash Kit and Training Manual is $25 within Australia and approximately $50 internationally.

Payright offers interest-free payment plans for amounts up to $20,000 with terms up to 60 months. They require a minimum deposit of 20% (which may be higher depending on the strength of your application). The balance can be paid off interest-free, either fortnightly or monthly, over a maximum term of 60 months.

TLC allows you to finance the entire course amount with no deposit required and offers competitive interest rates. Repayments can be made weekly, fortnightly, or monthly over a maximum term of 84 months, with no penalty for paying off the loan early.

The duration of the payment plan you choose affects your repayments. Generally, the longer the term, the lower your repayments will be. Below is an overview of what your repayments might look like based on the amount borrowed with TLC. You can pay off your loan early without any penalties.

Course Purchase Price (inc GST)

• $5,000 = $30 weekly
• $7,000 = $45 weekly
• $8,000 = $55 weekly
• $9,000 = $65 weekly
• $10,000 = $70 weekly
• $12,000 = $80 weekly
• $14,000 = $90 weekly
• $16,000 = $100 weekly
• $18,000 = $110 weekly
• $20,000 = $125 weekly
• $25,000 = $135 weekly

Option 1) Pay in full via credit card, bank transfer, stripe or Apple pay.

Option 2) Finance the entire course amount over 6-84 months with TLC.

Option 3) Apply for an interest-free "Study Now Pay Later" plan up to 60 months with Payright. (minimum 20% deposit required)

Option 4) Pay over time via AfterPay, ZipPay or PayPal.

Once a course has been booked all students have a 7 day reflection period whereby they can cancel and receive a full refund. After the reflection period has expired, courses that are cancelled will not receive a refund, however they can be rescheduled provided sufficient notice is given.

LashJoy Academy allows students to reschedule their course to a later date provided at least 30 days’ notice is given in writing.

If a course needs to be rescheduled more than once, or inside of 30 days from the course start date a re-enrolment fee may apply.

Online Courses - There are no refunds given on Online Courses once the course has been activated.

At LashJoy Academy, we believe that certification is earnt - not given.

As such, all students are required to submit "work experience" post training to demonstrate competency in the skills, techniques and knowledge learnt in order to receive their certification from LashJoy Academy.

This is done via submitting before and after photos for our assessment team to review and provide detailed and constructive feedback before signing off on your certificate.
