So Katherine! What made you want to become a Lash Artist and what were you doing before?

Having worked in the corporate world, I always felt unfulfilled. However, my love for lashes was ignited when I received my first set for my wedding. With thorough research, I discovered that LashJoy's academy was the absolute best in the industry. Confident in my decision, I enrolled in their Classic Lash Mastery course and it was truly life-changing.

Tell us about your business. What year did you open, services you currently offer, awards you've received and your proudest achievement to date.

I started KLIF in 2019 as a small business venture. At the time, I was working out of my spare bedroom at home and was the sole operator. However, as the business grew, I started to explore the possibility of expanding and offering more services. Fast forward to today, and KLIF has become a thriving business with a team of 13 employees and subcontractors. Our salon is located in Newport, and we offer a wide range of services, including lash, brow, hair, skin and injectable services.

Our commitment to providing the best possible service to our clients has not gone unnoticed. In 2023, we were honoured to be voted Brisbane's best lash salon by the Courier Mail. This recognition is a testament to the quality of our services and the dedication of our team.

We understand that each client has unique needs and preferences, which is why we offer a personalized approach to our services. Furthermore, KLIF is thrilled to announce the launch of an online course for brow lightening. This service has been increasingly popular in the beauty industry, and KLIF is well positioned to capitalize on this trend. The course will be expertly crafted to assist beauty professionals in mastering the latest techniques and trends in brow lightening, and will be instructed by industry leaders.
