Best Lash Lift Systems in Australia 2026: Top 5 for Korean Lash Lifts
Best Lash Lift System for Korean Lash Lifts: Top 5 Formulas in Australia
Let’s be honest. There are too many lash lift systems on the market now, and half the time you’re meant to decide based on pretty packaging, recycled marketing claims, or an artist who’s been sent a free kit.
Every brand says theirs is the best. Every second formula promises healthier lashes, faster processing, better results, less stress, more money, inner peace... you get the idea.
That’s not very helpful when you’re the one actually doing the treatment and your clients are paying good money for the result.
So we’ve stripped it back and compared five of the most relevant professional systems available to Australian artists right now.
Not by who markets the hardest.
Not by who gets talked about the most in Facebook groups.
And definitely not just by which brand has been around the longest.
We’ve looked at what actually matters in reality: the formula, how practical it is to work with, whether it suits modern Korean lifting techniques, processing speed, consistency, control and what you’re actually getting for your money.
All product information, pricing, pack sizes and manufacturer claims below are based on publicly available information at the time of writing. Formulas, prices and manufacturer instructions can change, so always check the current product information before use.
How We Compared the Best Lash Lift Systems
1. The Formula
What’s inside matters.
But it’s also not as simple as saying cysteamine = good and thioglycolate = bad.
Korean lash lifting is a technique, not one specific chemical system. Both cysteamine and thioglycolate-based formulas can produce excellent results when the formula, timing and technique suit the hair you’re working with.
We looked at the reducing agent, supporting ingredients, formula design and whether the system gives the artist enough control to work safely and consistently.
2. How It Actually Works in the Salon
A formula can sound fantastic on paper and still be annoying to work with.
Processing time matters.
Consistency matters.
How it performs on resistant lashes matters.
And if you’re doing Korean-style lifts, you need a formula that gives you enough control to work with modern glueless and low-glue techniques.
3. Value Per Treatment
This is where comparing the price of the box gets misleading.
A $57 refill pack isn’t necessarily cheaper than a $100 refill pack if one contains 0.5ml sachets and the other contains 1.5ml.
We’ve looked at product volume, manufacturer treatment claims where available and the actual cost of running the system.
Where a manufacturer does not publish a reliable treatment count, we’ve said so. Where we’ve estimated one, we’ve made that clear.
The Top 5 Lash Lift Systems for Korean Lash Lifts in Australia
5. Elleeplex Profusion
Best for artists who want a slower, more forgiving system
Let’s start with a formula a lot of Australian artists already know very well.
Elleeplex Profusion is Elleebana’s dual lash lift and brow lamination system and has been positioned as the gentler, more forgiving alternative to the original One Shot system.
That extra forgiveness is exactly why some artists love it.
It’s also its biggest downside.
If you’ve ever tried to process really resistant lashes or coarse brows with Profusion, you probably know what we mean.
It can be painfully slow.
Elleebana itself positions its original One Shot system as the faster option for stubborn lashes, while Profusion is designed to give artists more working time and reduce the risk of overprocessing.
That’s not necessarily a bad thing. For finer hair, newer artists or anyone who prefers a slower formula, that extra time can be useful.
But when you’ve got a full column of clients and a set of lashes refusing to move, forgiving starts feeling less exciting.
The current Australian refill pack contains 10 x Step 1 and 10 x Step 2 sachets, with 0.5ml in each sachet, and is commonly listed around $57.20.
The sachets are significantly smaller than some of the other systems in this comparison, so don’t judge the value purely by the lower box price.
Why it makes the top five: proven, widely available, dual-use and forgiving.
Why it sits at #5: processing resistant hair can be slow and the smaller sachet size reduces the value advantage suggested by the lower upfront price.
4. YUMI 3.0 Pro Lash & Brow
Best premium system built specifically around traditional and Korean techniques
YUMI deserves to be on this list because the current 3.0 system is specifically marketed for both the YUMI Korean Lash Lift Technique and traditional lash lifting.
That matters.
This isn’t a brand pretending its existing formula suddenly became a Korean lash lift system because Korean lifts are trending.
YUMI has actually developed its current system around both techniques.
The system includes Step 1 Le Lift, Step 2 Le Fix and Step 3 Le Serum, with 1ml sachets.
It’s also positioned as a gentler reformulated system with faster processing than previous YUMI formulas.
The downside is the price.
The current Australian 20-sachet-per-step pack is listed at $349.
There’s also a small problem with YUMI’s current Australian product information: different parts of the page currently state four treatments per sachet, five treatments per sachet, 80 treatments and up to 100 treatments.
Because those numbers don’t all agree with each other, we’re not going to pretend there’s one perfectly accurate cost-per-treatment figure.
Depending on actual use, it lands somewhere around the mid-$3 to mid-$4 range per treatment before considering any additional products used.
Still reasonable for a professional service.
Just not cheap.
Why it ranks #4: genuinely Korean-compatible, established professional system and versatile.
Why it doesn’t rank higher: premium price and unclear current treatment-count information make the value harder to justify against some of the systems above it.
3. InLei Lash Filler 25.9
Best established thioglycolate-based system for Korean Lash Lifts
InLei deserves to rank higher than we originally gave it credit for.
The Lash Filler 25.9 system is not cysteamine-based. Its current Lash Form 1 lifting lotion is based on ammonium thioglycolate and ammonia.
That absolutely does not rule it out for Korean lash lifting.
InLei Australia now teaches a dedicated Korean Lash Lift method using the Lash Filler 25.9 range and has developed supporting products such as S-Powder to adjust the lotion consistency for glueless techniques.
That makes this a genuine Korean-capable system rather than simply a traditional formula artists are loosely adapting themselves.
It’s also one of the more established professional systems in this comparison.
InLei’s Australian sachets contain 1.2ml, with the brand stating that one sachet can provide approximately two to three treatments.
Step 1 Form and Step 2 Fix are currently around $49.95 each for nine sachets.
That gives up to approximately 27 treatments from the Step 1 + Step 2 combination, or roughly $3.70 per treatment for those two core solutions.
Keep in mind the complete Lash Filler treatment includes additional products, so your true service cost will be higher if you’re completing the full InLei treatment exactly as designed.
InLei also has something most competing formulas can’t claim: the brand has published efficacy testing around its Lash Filler treatment and reports increased lash thickness and length following a series of treatments.
That doesn’t mean one lash lift suddenly grows your lashes.
It relates to their complete treatment over consecutive services.
Important difference.
Why it ranks #3: very established system, proper Korean education, predictable performance and unusually strong supporting research for the full treatment.
Why it doesn’t take the top two: it’s a more involved system and the complete treatment economics aren’t as strong as the simpler options above it.
2. Noemi Innovate
Best dedicated Korean-first alternative
If Korean lash lifting is your main priority, Noemi Innovate is probably the strongest alternative to LashJoy on this list.
Noemi has leaned heavily into the Korean and glueless lash lift space and its Innovate Step 1 uses Cysteamine HCl.
The current formula also includes ingredients such as argan oil, shea butter and hydrolysed proteins alongside the active lifting ingredients.
Processing times are listed at approximately 8–12 minutes, although as always, timing needs to be adjusted to the individual hair you’re working with.
Step 1 and Step 2 are both supplied in 10ml bottles.
Noemi doesn’t currently publish a simple treatment count that we could verify for the 10ml bottles, so rather than pretending we know exactly how many lifts you’ll get, we can estimate it based on volume.
LashJoy uses 15ml of Step 1 and 15ml of Step 2 across a 10-pack and provides 50+ lash lifts.
If Noemi were used at approximately the same average product volume per service, 10ml would provide roughly 33 lash lifts.
With Step 1 and Step 2 currently costing around $99.90 combined, that puts the estimated lotion cost at roughly:
$99.90 ÷ 33 = approximately $3.00 per lift.
That’s an estimate, not a treatment count published by Noemi. Actual usage will vary depending on technique and how much product you use.
Still, it’s good value.
It also has the advantage of being designed and marketed specifically around the techniques artists are actually using now.
Why it ranks #2: Korean-first positioning, cysteamine formula, good product volume, works well with modern techniques and offers strong value.
Very good system.
Just not quite the best overall when we put everything side by side.
1. LashJoy Lift & Lami System
Best overall for formula, speed, control and value
Okay.
Yes, you’re reading this on the LashJoy website.
So rather than pretending this is some anonymous independent review, we’ll tell you exactly why we’ve put our own formula at #1 and you can decide whether you agree.
When we compare the five systems using the same things we care about as working artists — formula, control, speed, consistency and cost per treatment — LashJoy comes out on top.
Not because it has the biggest name or the strongest marketing.
Because it doesn’t.
It wins because it solves most of the annoying compromises we’ve had with other systems.
Fast Without Being Crazy Fast
This was important to us.
We didn’t want Profusion-slow.
But we also didn’t want a formula where you felt like you needed to stand over your client with a stopwatch scared you were going to fry their lashes into oblivion.
LashJoy uses a Cysteamine HCl Step 1 and is designed to process efficiently, including on resistant hair, while still giving the artist enough working time to stay in control.
That middle ground is one of the biggest reasons artists switch.
The Consistency Is Actually Nice to Work With
This sounds like a small thing until you’re doing five appointments back-to-back.
A thick, controlled lotion stays where you put it.
Especially with Korean Lash Lift techniques, that matters.
You want enough viscosity to control placement without the product running everywhere or forcing you to constantly babysit it.
It’s What’s Inside the Sachet That Counts
LashJoy Step 1 contains Cysteamine HCl alongside ingredients including Hydrolyzed Collagen, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1, Aloe Vera, Panthenol, Radish Root Ferment, Apigenin and Oleanolic Acid.
Step 2 also contains supporting ingredients including Aloe Vera, Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein and Panthenol.
We’re careful here because adding nice ingredients to a perming lotion doesn’t magically make chemical processing harmless.
You are still restructuring hair.
Correct timing and technique still matter.
But if we have the choice between a stripped-back formula and one that also includes useful conditioning ingredients, we know which one we’d rather work with.
Then There’s Step 3 Miracle Cream
This part is optional.
You do not need Step 3 to complete the lash lift.
It’s simply there if you want to finish the service with a deeper conditioning treatment.
And rather than putting it in another sachet, it comes in a 5ml airless pump, which makes far more sense for something you’re only using a small amount of at the end of the service.
Miracle Cream contains ingredients including Jojoba Oil, Castor Oil, Argan Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Vitamin E, Sodium Hyaluronate and Sea Minerals.
You can use it as a leave-in finishing mask.
Or leave it on for around 5–10 minutes and remove it with a damp cotton pad.
No unnecessary extra step unless you actually want it.
The Reviews Are Actually Useful
We don’t just collect generic reviews saying:
“Love it.”
“Great product.”
“Five stars.”
That doesn’t tell another artist considering switching systems much.
What we find far more useful are reviews from artists comparing LashJoy directly with the formula they were already using.
Profusion. One Shot. InLei. YUMI. Noemi. Thuya. And plenty of others.
Because that’s the information another artist actually wants to know.
How did the processing compare?
Was it easier to control?
How did it perform on resistant lashes?
Did they actually prefer the result?
That’s useful feedback.
Then We Gave It to 50 Professional Artists
When LashJoy invited 50 professional lash artists to try the system and share their feedback, almost all of them switched.
46 out of 50.
That says something.
These weren’t beginners learning how to do their first lash lift.
They were experienced professionals who had already worked with many of the systems mentioned above and, forgive the language, know their shit.
They weren’t being asked, “Does LashJoy work?”
They were comparing it against formulas they already knew, trusted and used on paying clients.
And 46 of them preferred LashJoy enough to change what they were using.
Then There’s the Value
This is where LashJoy becomes very difficult to beat.
The LashJoy Step 1 + Step 2 10-pack is currently $99.95.
Each sachet contains 1.5ml.
That’s three times the volume of a 0.5ml Profusion sachet.
The current pack provides enough product for 50+ lash lifts, putting the Step 1 + Step 2 lotion cost at approximately:
$99.95 ÷ 50 = $2.00 per lash lift.
And if you’re a LashJoy trained artist, you qualify for 20% off LashJoy products for life.
That brings the same refill pack down to approximately $79.96.
Which works out at:
$79.96 ÷ 50 = around $1.60 per lash lift.
For a professional system with 1.5ml sachets, fast processing, controlled consistency and a cysteamine-based formula, that makes it very hard to find a better-value system on the Australian market.
And for LashJoy-trained artists paying around $1.60 per lift?
That is easily one of the best-value professional systems we’ve seen.
Why LashJoy Is Our Best Overall Pick
- Cysteamine HCl-based lifting formula
- Fast without being crazy fast
- Strong performance on resistant lashes
- Suitable for traditional and Korean-style lash lifting techniques
- Thick, controlled consistency
- 1.5ml sachets
- 50+ lash lifts from a 10-pack
- Around $2.00 lotion cost per lash lift at standard pricing
- Around $1.60 per lift for LashJoy-trained artists receiving 20% off
- Optional 5ml Step 3 Miracle Cream finishing treatment
- 46 out of 50 professional artists in our trial went on to switch
That combination is why it takes the #1 spot.
Not because every other formula is bad.
They’re not.
There are some genuinely excellent systems in this list.
Profusion gives you control but can be painfully slow.
YUMI is strong but expensive.
InLei has excellent education and some of the strongest supporting research in the category, but it’s a more involved treatment system.
Noemi is probably the closest competitor when it comes to modern Korean techniques and a cysteamine-based formula.
LashJoy gives us the best balance of all of them.

So Which Lash Lift System Should You Choose?
There isn’t one formula that will magically make every artist better.
Your technique still matters.
Your timing still matters.
Your understanding of hair still matters.
But your products should make your job easier, not harder.
If your current system gives you consistent results and you love working with it, there’s no reason to change because someone on Instagram told you to.
But if you’re constantly waiting for resistant lashes to process, fighting with your lotion consistency, burning through tiny sachets or paying $4–$5 in lotion every time a client gets on the bed...
There are better options now.
For us, when formula, processing speed, control, real artist feedback and actual treatment cost are looked at together, LashJoy is the best overall system in this comparison.
If you disagree, that’s completely fine.
Artist to artist, we’d rather you actually compare the formulas and choose what works best in your hands than blindly use something because somebody told you it was “the best”.
That’s exactly how we ended up developing ours in the first place.
