HOW DOES THE MENTORSHIP WORK?
Once enrolled, the first step is to complete your 5 Day Beginner Classic Lash Mastery Course. We will contact you within 24 hours of enrolment with a variety of course dates for you to choose from. We typically run this course 1-2 times per month, so depending on availability, you could attend within a few weeks if you want to start asap.
After attending your 5 Day Course, we will activate your lifetime access to our Classic Online Course, which will be your "refresher" resource that you can refer back to at any time to help ensure you don't forget anything and you stay on track.
After you've attended your 5 Day Classic Lash Mastery Course and are confident with your fundamentals, it's now time to start booking your remaining courses.
We recommend waiting a minimum of 6 weeks after completing your 5 Day beginner course before attending your 3 Day Advanced course to allow sufficient time for you to master your classic fundamentals. This will allow you to make the absolute most out of your Volume & Hybrid course.
Our 1 Day Lash Lift Masterclass is suitable for beginners, so this is a great course to take in between your 5 Day Classic Course and your 3 Day Volume & Hybrid Course.
Important: There is no time frame to complete all 4 courses; however, momentum is a huge factor when developing confidence as a new Lash Artist, so we recommend completing your mentorship in 6-9 months or less where possible.

This mentorship is suitable for complete beginners with zero lash or beauty experience or new Lash Stylists who have attended a "crash course" elsewhere and are not confident in their lash application techniques and knowledge.
The only prerequisites to attend this course are that you have good eyesight (you may need to wear glasses for applying, which is very common) and that you have a passion for helping others feel more beautiful and confident in themselves.

Our Classic Lash Mastery Courses are suitable for complete beginners with no industry experience or lash stylists who have trained elsewhere and are not feeling confident in their techniques and knowledge.
The only requirement (aside from a positive attitude to learning!) is that you are over 15 years of age and have good vision for detailed work. Many lash stylists choose to wear glasses for extra support.

ABOUT THE COURSE
Suited to those looking to learn how to safely apply Eyelash Extensions to the highest industry standards as a hobby or part-time business but without the business and marketing strategies taught on the 4th day of my 5 Day Classic Lash Mastery Course.
Students will attend days 1 through 3 of the 5 Day Classic Lash Mastery Course, skip the 4th day to rest (or practice at home), and return on day 5 for their final model assessment.
This is also suited to Stylists that are already working in a Lash Salon or looking to do so and want to improve their technique and speed but may not benefit so much from the business aspect that is covered on day 4.
4 Day Classic Lash Mastery is almost 32 hours of expert training spread over 4 full days in a small student-focused class.
Much like the 5 Day Course, this course is very much about “doing” so you will spend approximately 12 hours applying extensions on four separate models under the supervision and guidance of our educators to build your confidence and perfect your application skills.
Once you have completed your 4 Day training, your 20 model work experience mentorship then begins, whereby you'll submit photographic evidence of 20 full sets (or refills) completed by you, which are then reviewed by our assessment team before providing you with detailed and constructive feedback to help you further improve.
Lashing when you're brand new is about building momentum through regular practice, implementing feedback from your mentor, and establishing good habits that will set you up for success.
Upon meeting the course requirements and payment has been made in full, you will be issued with a “Certificate of Achievement” certifying you as a qualified Eyelash Extension Technician by Joy Crossingham of LashJoy Academy.

While we welcome students to attend who are completely new to the industry, the course has been designed especially for lash stylists, beauty therapists and makeup artists looking to add to their skillset or further develop basic brow styling skills.
Classes are capped at 4 students to ensure you receive one-on-one, personalised support in your learning. Lucy is an experienced educator who will guide you every step of the way until you are confident to work independently.
While this training is suitable for complete beginners, previous experience in waxing may help you get the most out of this course.
Several public transport options are nearby, and we are just 10 minutes from the CBD and 20 minutes from the Brisbane Domestic Airport.
